Welcome, the year is 2021. After everything that happened this year, I'm so happy to be here.
Like a lot of other new moms, I'm dumbfounded by how quickly they grow. The hours may be long, but the days are flying by. There are so many important things I want to remember, and so much I want to share.
It's important to me to be intentional in my parenting. I know, we're all just winging it, doing the best we can... but as much as I can, I aim to slow myself down, be present, be thoughtful and demonstrate the things I want my son to learn.
Every parent wants to give their child the best they can. They want to give them the things and opportunities that they didn't have growing up. I'm no different. I grew up indoors, so it's really important to me that my child knows what its like to grow up outdoors, skinned knees, dirt between their toes, building forts and catching bugs.
This is a record of our adventure. This is how we find joy in simplicity, disconnect to reconnect, and find what we need from nature. This is how we are creating a life we love.
